METAL STAMPINGS
Precision parts for construction, appliance, defense and automotive applications.

Our precision stampings use compound and progressive dies for construction, appliance, defense and auto industry applications.
In our metal stampings area, we have 14 punch presses in-house ranging from a small 50 ton punch press up to our largest punch press which is a 300 ton unit. All of our presses feature coil feeder, unwinder and straightener attachments to punch from thin, two thousandths thick stainless steel up to heavy 3/8 inch carbon steel stampings.
We make a variety of components for electrical components, commercial construction and engine applications including engine brackets, hose clamps and a wide variety of additional parts.
The Cannon niche, which we do very well, is to create parts from one piece up to a 250,000 pieces. We also provide one-off services and prototype work to help customers prove their design concepts, or help in situations where the customer will call for us to take a die that hasn’t been used in years and make a few hundred parts for a critical need.
Highlights
- Our stamping capabilities include parts manufactured using compound and progressive dies.
- Before some customers invest as much as $250,000 in a tool, Cannon will help by “soft tooling” the product for them using our stamping capabilities. That provides an ability to run the part through testing to make sure the fit, form and function is correct before making the investment in expensive tooling.
